Snowflakes, sunrays, scarves, rosy cheeks and a good read... explorations, birthday parties, evening coffee and music.

Krakow, Poland

Castles and churches and statues, oh my!

All day every day.. Really good (and really cheap!) coffee.

We tried traditional Polish Sour Soup.. So very yummy!

There are beautiful churches and synagogues all over Krakow!

This is on the way to the Schindler Factory Museum. It still blows my mind how complicated and intricate history is... And to learn about it from the viewpoint of a different country than your own!
We also visited Auschwitz Concentration Camp. It is sickening yet amazing how much thought was put into building and running these camps.

Prague, Czech Republic

Prague is a beautiful city, equally charming at day and at night... There are winding cobblestone streets and bridges, quaint colorful shops, amazing architecture, and beautiful old churches.

Statues on the Charles Bridge.

One of the bridge towers.

There are talented street performers on every corner...

Breakfast, sidewalk style.

Bubbles in Old Town Square.

St. Vitus Cathedral.

The narrowest street in Prague is only 60cm wide. It has to have a traffic light so that people enter from only one direction at a time.

Old Town Square was a great place to chill, drink your coffee, people watch and listen to and watch street performers.

There are countless cafés and coffee shops, I'll admit we frequented Starbucks, but Café Savoy was definitely a favorite. It is rated in the top 25 of delicious bakeries in the world.

Next stop... Krakow, Poland.
